It’s another example of the ways our public schools and community organizations work together to enrich students’ academic lives and give them opportunities to spread their wings. Students in Beaufort County took part in a competition called the Academic Cultural Technological Scientific Olympics (ACT SO). Students worked with mentors to produce original projects in the arts, sciences, entrepreneurship, and humanities. Selected winners will have the opportunity to compete nationally.
