PalmettoPride announces contest winners

150327-palmettopridelogoPublic elementary school students around the state have been working to promote a more beautiful South Carolina. They participated in PalmettoPride’s “Litter Trashes Everyone” art contest. Created by state lawmakers, PalmettoPride is an initiative aimed at curbing litter and enhancing the state’s natural beauty. Enlisting students in this effort is a great way to get young people to think seriously about the problem of litter and other issues that impact our state’s public spaces. It’s also results in some really cool artwork!
