Midlands school ranks in national program

Students and schools in South Carolina continue to shine on the national stage. This time, it’s Lexington Technology Center, where students have been learning the ins-and-outs of personal finance. Their efforts have been noticed by Working in Support of Education, a non-profit that promotes financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and academic success. Lexington Technology Center placed seventh national among large schools taking part in the organization’s Financial Literacy Certification Program. Teachers Amy Kuntz and Randy Scott (pictured) visited New York to accept the recognition. Learn more about the program here.
